When It's time to recoat your mirror, why not have it tested with an interferometer at the same time? Optical Mechanics offers a full range of services from testing and evaluation to figuring and coating.
We test your mirror with an interferometer to create a detailed analysis and report of your mirror’s surface, which includes RMS and P-V wave-front error as well as Strehl ratio. You will receive an interferometric Test Report. This test can be used to verify the quality of your mirror, or to evaluate a potential problem mirror. Either way, the interferometric test will give you valuable information about the quality of your mirror. We can test coated as well as uncoated mirrors.
For mirrors up to 25" aperture we will report back to you with interferometric test results within one week of receiving your mirror at our lab.
